  1. Valerie-When is it an appropriate time to move to a 3.5 or 4 hour schedule? Is it only if baby is STTN? My son, now 10 weeks old, goes to sleep after his 10:00 p.m. DF & sleeps till 6:00-6:30 a.m. He has never napped well; only about 30-45 minutes during nap time. Will this be a problem if I am wanting to move to a longer schedule? I plan on waiting until at least 12 weeks before I attempt any changes. Thank you!

  2. I just wanted to add that my son just moved to a four hour schedule at 7 months. We started a 3.5 hour schedule around 5.5/6 months. I’m sure he could have went longer between feedings but he wasn’t ready to stay awake longer than 1 hr. 15 min. until just a few weeks ago. Thanks!
