March 8, 2009 we will move our clocks forward one hour (if you live in an area that participates in Daylight Savings).
The Spring time change is really a lot easier than the Fall time change. Personally, I plan to just change my kids that day. If they seem a bit tired early the night before, we will put them down a bit early. March 8, I might let them sleep in an extra 30 minutes (which would be 30 minutes earlier than usual) and then get them up. It should only take a couple of days to get everything normal.
Keep in mind that my children are close to 4 and 2 years old. They adjust to things like this faster and easier than a baby. You might need to take a more gradual approach with your child(ren).
If your baby or child is waking earlier than you would like to, the Spring time change is a great tool to just let things fix themselves.
