I am really excited about this product. This is a blanket that actually stays on while you are on a walk! Here is the information from the shop because she puts it well:

 

"Ever taken your baby for a walk and wanted to keep their little tootsies covered but the little guy or gal kept kicking the blanket off?

This "piggies in a blanket" stroller blanket has a special pocket on the bottom with a drawstring. Simply insert the "piggies" and cinch the drawstring to keep those tootsies warm.


This blanket is ideal for strollers, outdoor sporting events, or anywhere else you want to make sure your baby's little "piggies" stay warm.


Blanket is made of fleece. Pocket dimension is 14 x 20 inches and blanket above the pocket is 36 x 26 inches. Total height of the blanket is 42 inches. Blanket comes in one size and can be folded down to accommodate smaller babies. This blanket will work with a young baby (around 6 months old) up to an older toddler.
Blankets come in 5 colors: red, heather gray, navy blue, baby blue with white polka dots, and pink with multi-colored dots. When you are ready to order, please send me a message with your choice of color.

Sarah was inspired to create this by a friend, and she and the friend are donating 20% of the profits to a village in Kenya.

Let me share a story with you. My babies were all born in the spring. That meant that in the summer for walks, I couldn't use sun block but I also didn't want them in the sun. We all know that waketime is short for those little babies, so I didn't want to have to change the entire outfit before and after the walk. I used a Kiddopotomus Ray shade and a cute sun hat. I put socks on the little toes. I also put a light blanket over the child. Without fail, every day, my poor neighbor, who is in his 80s, would be running after me telling me I dropped my blanket! It just wouldn't stay on, despite my best tucking.
 
We also love to do things in the fall like go to the corn maze. This is fun for the older kids but requires the baby to be in the stroller. I spend my time tucking and re-tucking that blanket and watching with paranoia to make sure it doesn't fall in the mud (because you add up lots of people walking through a dirt corn maze in the fall and that is what it turns into).
 
With McKenna, I discovered the Kiddopotomus Swaddleme. This was a great solution to the blanket falling off, though it didn't really fit well with our stroller straps and thus still left parts exposed. At least the blanket wasn't falling off onto the ground, but my problem wasn't solved.
 
THIS blanket by Sarah is the answer! This is why I am so excited about it. I see so much value in it because I have dropped so many blankets on the ground over the years! You can use a light one in the spring and early fall. You can use a light one for those babies with sensitive skin who shouldn't be in the sun too long. You can use the cozy fleece ones for the late fall, winter, and early spring. Use it for going to the corn maze and keeping baby warm...I just wish I had this blanket five years ago! Really.
