My 1st had colic. I would like to add that "true" colic (meaning: not acid reflux or allergies or telescoping intestines, etc.) does not "go away." It needs to be treated.

My daughter's colic did not go away until she was 6 months old when a chiropractor found the source of her pain and treated her, changing our world.

For the number of answers, that poll was really all over the place. And hooray for chiropractors! That's not the first time I've heard about them curing the uncurable.

Tiff, that is weird. I have only ever read that if it is true colic, all you can do is wait for it to go away. If it is caused by something else, you can treat symptoms and in some cases do something that makes it go away. My guess would be your daughter didn't have true colic because "experts" on the subject agree that it would be gone by 6 months if it was colic. But I have no personal experience in the subject.
