Hi Val! Happy Labor Day! This is my first time posting a question. Up to now, I've found an answer through your blog to every question while implementing BW. Here it is: my DS is 10 months, 9 months adjusted. His naps used to be great (1.5-2 hours in the morning and 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon). He would fall asleep within 15 minutes or less. For a few weeks now, he plays 30 min - 1 hr in his crib before sleeping for only an hour or so! I've tried putting him down earlier and later. I've tried making sure he's getting enough "exercise" and also having quiet time. Any help is appreciated!

That's funny - it was after 11 am and no new post and I thought, that's weird I know she usually posts at 10, I hope everything is ok. Oh, it's probably Blogger... Clearly, you are a regimented blogger and I, reader. Also? I may need other things in my life... :)

I'm a new mom (4 week old baby boy) and I just wanted to say thank you again and again for posting all of what you post! I'm starting babywise (and love it... starting to feel like a human again!) and SO many of my questions have been answered here. God BLESS YOU!!

First, think about what has changed between when he was sleeping well and when he stopped.

If nothing has changed at all, is he teething? Does he need more food in the day?

And if there is nothing there, then try lenthening waketime a bit--up to two hours before his first nap and before his second nap. Once you get to two hours, stay there and see if naps get better.

Kristin, I must say I am glad someone out there is interested enough to know my posting schedule :)
