Today's post is from Bethany over at The Graceful Mom. Bethany is talking about feeling stretched as a mom, and how we can essentially unstretch ourselves. She talks about reevaluating priorities (she shares great ideas). She also talks about how Babywise principles can help us feel less stretched. She says:
Babywise has helped me bring priorities into focus when I feel like I am giving a little bit of attention to every single, little details. What is most important when I feel stretched? Who needs my focus first? Is our schedule helping or hurting?
I think we all get to the point of feeling like we couldn't possibly give any more. Is it just at my house, or is spring a crazy-busy time for everyone? It is like hibernation time is over and suddenly we have soccer and dance recitals and and school plays and Easter (and it probably doesn't help that I have four of the six members of my family with a birthday in a two month period during spring). So yes, we get busy as moms and need to be sure to re-prioritize and evaluate what is going on to ensure we have a schedule that is best for the entire family. Head on over to The Graceful Mom for ideas.
