All Is Calm book {Giveaway}

This post may contain affiliate links.

Today's giveaway is for a daily reader, All Is Calm: A Daily Reader From Thanksgiving to Christmas by Randy Schlichting and Amy Shirley.

This book is designed to be a daily reader that you read each day from Thanksgiving to Christmas. You read one small chapter a day that gives you an idea for helping you remember the reason for the season and keep everything calm as you celebrate the Christmas season. You can read the entire book in under an hour, so it is something you have time for! At the end of each chapter, the authors list scriptures to refer to that speak about their point of the day.

You have the chance to enter to win your own copy to enjoy this season! Three lucky winners will win a copy of the book (your choice of paperback or Kindle). Enter below:

a Rafflecopter giveaway

This book seems like it would be a great help around the holidays to remember the Reason for the Season!

We remember the reason for the season by getting together as an extended family after Thanksgiving and helping my grandma put up all of her nativities. She has collected them over the years and also received many as gifts which has resulted in a collection of over 250 individual nativity sets (no two are alike). When you're together as a family putting up that many nativities and hearing the story behind each one you can't help but remember why we celebrate Christmas. This book seems like it will be a great accompaniment to our family tradition.

We remember the reason for the season by having a birthday party for Jesus. We have a cake in the shape of a cross and sing Happy Birthday!

This would be a wonderful reminder each day of the REAL reason for the season!

I like to be mindful about gratitude and be engaged in serving others as much as possible.

This year we're doing truth in the tinsel, but normally I just try to take it slow - don't overcommit, get as much "have to" (cards, shopping, etc) done ahead of time, and take advantage of the time to read extra to my children and talk about why we celebrate what we do.

What a great idea for this book, this mama could use a little dose of "calm" this time of year!

We participate in Advent Conspiracy, donating money for wells in Africa. The kids make crafts that we sell/over for a donation so everyone can contribute.

It has helped me so much with my 2 boys (1.5 and 3.5) and I have another baby on the way! Thank you for all your help!!!

I love reading the Bible account of our Savior's birth and having all the grandkids on my side of the family act it out on Christmas Eve. It really helps me the night before opening gifts, to remember the reason for the giving of gifts and to feel the Spirit of the season.

Not that it's hugely important because the contest is over, but in the rules it states that entries will be accepted until midnight Friday November 29. But the contest closed sooner than that… :( oh well….
