  1. 1-What was your child's optimal waketime length for 12-15 months old? 1.5 hours after waking in the morning and from first nap, then 3 hours between 2nd nap and bedtime.2-What time was your child's morning waketime (what time did he/she get up) at 12-15 months? 6:30am because that's when my hubby gets up for work.3-What time was your child's bedtime at 12-15 months? 6:30-7pm4-How many hours did your child usually sleep at night at 12-15 months? 12…13.5 if our schedule didn't dictate otherwise.5-How many naps did your child take a day at 12-15 months? 26-How long was each nap usually at 12-15 months? 2-3 hours. First nap almost always long, 2nd nap a bit shorter and often missed because of errands or some other fluke.7-Looking at all of the sleep as a whole, do you think your child was getting the sleep that was ideal for your child at that age range? Yes. It seemed great for her and for me!

  2. This was an interesting time for my son because he was struggling with dropping down to 1 nap. In hindsight a lot of our sleep issues & issues with early morning waking were a result of needing to drop down to 1 nap.1-What was your child's optimal waketime length for 12-15 months old?I thought it was 3hrs but it was really closer to 4.5!2-What time was your child's morning waketime (what time did he/she get up) at 12-15 months?7am has always been our home's waketime but DS was up at 5:30 or 6am talking in his crib most days during this time.3-What time was your child's bedtime at 12-15 months?7pm. No change here.4-How many hours did your child usually sleep at night at 12-15 months?10-11 when he was taking 2 naps, and then back to 12 once we dropped down to 1 nap. 5-How many naps did your child take a day at 12-15 months?2 for the beginning of this period and 1 by the end.6-How long was each nap usually at 12-15 months? With 2 naps he was doing one 1.5-2hrs nap then usually a 45 minute nap. Once we dropped down to 1 nap he would sleep 3hrs.7-Looking at all of the sleep as a whole, do you think your child was getting the sleep that was ideal for your child at that age range?Yes. Once we got over the awkward transition to 1 nap things were perfect!

My son has ALWAYS been a low-sleep-needs kid. Would love for him to sleep more, but he just doesn't need it. So yes, I think he's getting as much sleep as he needs. Ideal for him; maybe not for me. 🙂

Well it would have been nice to stick with two naps, but she wouldn't sleep well for either nap so one nap it is. She seems to be doing well with what we are doing so it is best for us. She probably doesn't get as much sleep as most babywise babies but more sleep than those who don't use babywise

When dropping to one afternoon nap it last 3 hours.7. Do you think your child was getting enough sleep for this age range?Yes. He did great with two naps but then was ready to drop to one as he stopped napping well for the second nap after sleeping for 2 hours during his first nap. I gradually increased his wake time laying him down a little later each day and he adjusted perfectly.

Yes. I would've preferred longer naps for my daughter, but for the most part she was happy until bedtime so I figured she was getting what she needed. My son always took at least 3 hour naps so that worked for him.

We haven't fought him going to bed since he was a tiny few month old (he is now 15 months). His morning nap can be hit or miss, but he loves his afternoon nap now, too.
