Yesterday I talked about how we discipline without spanking because we have chosen not to spank, but what if you absolutely weren’t allowed to spank? Natasha’s post today is a perfect continuation of what I talked about yesterday.

When you take in children from foster care, there are A LOT of rules and restrictions.  One of those restrictions is no spanking or physical discipline (understandably so in a lot of cases) so we’ve had to come up with creative alternatives that actually work to keep our sanity and avoid having out-of-control kids.”

She then goes on to list 8 ways they discipline in ways that are allowed in foster care.
