Homemade Toys {BFBN Week}

Today’s we will have two posts from the BFBN ladies. The first is from Kimberly at Team Cartwright. She is talking about ideas for making different homemade toys. She has some fantastic ideas here. I love the concept of using what is around the house and would otherwise be thrown away and turning those items into toys. You know how fast kids go through clothes? They can go through a lot of toys just as fast. It is nice to not have to store toys when they are too old for them (saving for the next child)–you can just throw these things in the recycling! Kimberly says:

All of these can be made cute with some construction paper and time, but I usually don’t bother with that.  I like that they are easily replaced and that Ben loves them.  Real toys are great, but it is so nice when I can pull something together without spending much, if any, money.

Head over to her blog to see these great ideas.

It is Babywise Friendly Blog Network week! You will be hearing from these lovely ladies this week, all on the topic of play:
