I voted yes for 24-26 months, but we also moved from one state to another when he was that age.

Hi Val, I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, so forgive me if it's not! I love your blog and don't know what I would have done this past 8 weeks without it, so thank you!My 8.5 week old has been waking up consistently for several weeks at 5am and will not go back to sleep. He's on a 7,10,1,4,7 schedule, but he still has a feeding at 12am and 4am, so I know he's not hungry. (He will NOT dream feed earlier that 11:30 or 12, and when he does, at say 10:30, he just wakes up at 2 and at 5). It's almost like this is when he wants to start his day – which we do NOT! We've been trying to soothe him and put him back down to go back to sleep, but it never works for more than 10-15 minutes. Usually we end up resorting to the swing and paci at some point just so we can get some more sleep because we are so delirious. (And even then, sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't).Do you have any suggestions on what to try to get him to sleep straight after his 4am feeding until 7am? I'm feeling rather desperate!

Alyssa,Since he is waking only one hour after eating, my guess is there is some environmental factor waking him:1-sun2-cold/hot3-noise4-gas/painThink about what is going on at that time to wake him, then try to alleviate it/remove it. Good luck!
