Vacation Time!

For the first time in over two years, I am taking a vacation from the blog. The first (and only) time I did this, it was before posts could be scheduled. I was out of town in the fabulous Washington DC and unable to post, so I had a week long vacation. That was April of 2008. Since then, I have not taken a blog vacation, at all, even after McKenna was born. Last summer, I noticed a lot of bloggers take entire months off and realized I should do some sort of vacation. So I decided this summer, I needed to do so! I am taking this week off.

If you really want to read the blog, there are plenty of posts for you to review or catch up on 🙂 I am sure there will be some people who are unhappy with this, but I am positive most will understand and wonder why I haven’t done this sooner. Posting 6 days a week and answering questions gets to be a big job, and I just really need some time to not think about the blog and focus 100% on my family.

Next week, I will reveal my awesome plan with your BW stories. Thank you for all who have submitted stories. I know I said I wanted them by the beginning of July, but if you have some success stories you want to share with me, go ahead and send them until next Monday (July 12). Send them to [email protected].

Oh, another tidbit, during July and August, product review posts will run every other Friday instead of every Saturday. This is another way for me to take a bit of a break for the summer, and since we keep the giveaway open for two weeks, it also gives you a good chance to enter each giveaway since people often go on vacations in the summer. In September, they will go back to Saturdays.

I hope you are all having a great summer (or winter) and a good time with your families!

  1. Yeah! Enjoy your vaca! I have to be honest though, I thought this was going to be a post on how to take a vaca with a newborn, while still fitting in naps, etc. since I'm going to be doing that shortly… 😉

  2. Hey Val – FYI – the link in the comment made with the asain characters (all the periods at the end) is not the most upstanding link…

  3. Thanks for the support everyone! We had a nice vacation. Nice and relaxing.Amy, thanks about the link. I try to stay on top of that, but some of them slip through. NEVER click on a link from a comment…you never know where it will take you. And Amy, that is a good idea for a post 🙂
