Daily life and schedule for a 9.25 year old tween who was raised on Babywise. See her daily life, activities she is involved in, and her daily schedule.
EATING
Eating is going well.
SLEEPING
Sleeping is good. She sometimes gets caught up in a book and is up later than ideal, but overall her sleep is good.
SCHOOL
School is going well! Brinley is in 4th grade this year. It is her first year at the elementary without a sibling, so that is a big change for her.
4th grade is the year that our school identifies gifted students (it used to be third grade, but it is now fourth. The reason for the change is they moved sixth grade into the elementary schools and basically have funding for three grades).
Brinley was invited to participate in the gifted program. She very much loves it.
Another fun thing at school is that she ran in a race and was the fourth overall finisher in the fourth grade. She was second out of the girls. She loves to run. We hadn’t done any training before the race, so I was impressed she was able to finish so well.
EXTRACURRICULAR
Brinley participated in swim lessons, soccer, and piano lessons.
Swim lessons did not last long in this period. With school starting, the only times available were too late for her to be out. We are hoping she can start back up before too long because she really enjoys it.
Piano lessons was hit and miss. Brayden is busy enough that he can’t really be consistent with it, so by the end of this period, we transitioned to Kaitlyn being her teacher.
PUPPY
Brinley loves our new puppy. She is very involved in caring for her. She loves to play with her and is very attentive.
FAVORITES
Brinley loves to write books and make costumes for her stuffed animals.
Some of her favorite books right now are the Whatever After series, Fablehaven series, and Dragonwatch series.
DAILY SCHEDULE
Here is her daily schedule for school days.
7:30 AM – Wake up, eat, and get ready. Take care of puppy.
8:30 AM– Go to school
4:00 PM – Get home
5:00 PM – Dinner. Then free play/family time/practice piano/perhaps soccer practice
8:30 PM – Bedtime
