The benefits of routine and good sleep

I’m a first time mum with a 14 month old. I read babywise before my son arrived and am so grateful I did. Feeling like I had a plan in the early days with feeding and sleeping made such a difference to my sanity, and although I’d heard many good stories, I was so excited when Ethan starting sleeping through from the dream feed until  7 am at 11 weeks.

I have a much greater capacity to parent well because I’m rested and our days are enjoyable because we have a predictable routine. The parenting strategies in subsequent books have taken a lot of stress out of how best to manage behavioral challenges. I’m very thankful that friends recommended the books and for the fruit that brings each day in our home”.
