I really needed to read this post today...I feel that we are surrounded by people that not only do not discipline but shudder when I say the word. We have been Baby Wise parents from the start and like Sarah said our little girl is also a good example that it works. Thank you for the post and encouragement. :)

We use the word "obey" with our daughter (a lot) and though no one has said anything to me, I often sense that it's a word that folks are uncomfortable with. Our intent is to use the word in daily living so she can best understand it in The Word.
